The Wildschönau Panorama Hut is a true jewel located in the midst of the impressive mountain landscape of the Markbachjoch in the picturesque Tyrolean Wildschönau. Surrounded by a spectacular backdrop, it offers not only a unique holiday experience but also the perfect location for a ski-in, ski-out stay, directly on the ski slope, in the middle of the Ski Jewel Alpachtal Wildschönau.
The Wildschönau, an idyllic high valley in the Kitzbühel Alps, is known for its tranquillity and natural beauty. The region is excellent for diverse activities for the whole family - from exploring untouched nature to exciting adventures in the mountains. The Markbachjoch is known far beyond Tyrol's borders as a nature and hiking paradise. In winter, it impresses with wonderful ski slopes. For sledging enthusiasts, the sledging run at Lanerköpfl is particularly suitable. In summer, all hiking and biking enthusiasts get their money's worth. The panoramic hut offers space for up to eight people and is the ideal retreat for an unforgettable holiday in the Tyrolean Alps.
The 2024/2025 renovated log cabin impresses with its rustic charm and has been equipped with noble materials. The natural wood creates a cosy atmosphere and ensures a genuine cabin feeling. In the three lovingly furnished bedrooms, guests can relax after an eventful day in the mountains. Each room is equipped with a comfortable double bed that ensures restful nights. The cabin has two modern bathrooms, with washbasin, shower and toilet. The fully equipped kitchen with electric hob is ideal for self-caterers, and the cosy dining area invites sociable evenings.
A beautiful garden with garden furniture and a barbecue area offers plenty of opportunity to enjoy the fresh mountain air and spend relaxed hours outdoors. The absolute highlight of the panoramic hut is the in-house sauna - the perfect place to relax and recharge after a sporty day in the mountains.
In summer, access to the panoramic hut is possible via a forest road to the designated parking area for your car. From there, a footpath of approximately 200 metres, partly steep, leads to the hut. Please definitely pay attention to suitable footwear (e.g. sturdy hiking boots with profile), as the path can be slippery or muddy depending on the weather. In winter, transport to the hut is weather-dependent by snowmobile or by train. Also in winter, please pay attention to appropriate clothing.
